Massage Therapy involves the hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. Massage therapy has a therapeutic effect on the body as it acts on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems for the purpose of optimizing one's health and wellbeing. With the use of various soft tissue techniques, massage therapists can help decrease musculo-skeletal tension while improving flexibility. Massage therapy aids in promoting an overall feeling of well-being and relaxation.
